PGA TOUR
Redesigned and rebuilt the PGA TOUR mobile app, elevating the user experience through new features such as live leaderboard data, player profiles, personalization and a new design system to continues to support and evolving product. I managed the front-end development of the app, working closely with design and the TOUR’s back-end team to implement the new app.
data and stats at the forefront
One of the key enhancements of the app wa to add a layer of live, up-to-date data of the players and ongoing tours. We added a detailed live leaderboard showing player stats so users could pull up the app anytime to see how their favorite players were performing. We also created live and personalized content cards so users could tap into parts of the tour that interest them most be it a live feed of play, reviewing a specific hole’s performance, upcoming event etc.
Design that scales
We created a new design library, Haskell, that evolved to accommodate both iOS, Android and web needs. This new system flexes across content type be it editorial carousel cards to detailed tables, icons, fonts, animations and more, while maintaining current accessibility standards.
